At Midwest Firewood, we understand the importance of timely delivery. While delivery times may vary depending on location and supply, we aim to deliver your order within 10 working days. To ensure the best possible service, we will contact you before delivery to confirm a suitable time for delivery. This way, you can be sure that someone will be available to receive the firewood and you can plan accordingly. Please note that our firewood is delivered in an open-top trailer, so you will need to have adequate space for the driver to dump the firewood. This will help to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process.
We offer delivery service across the country, with free delivery in County Clare, County Galway, and County Limerick. For customers located outside those areas, a delivery fee of €50 will be applied. We strive to make our service as convenient and affordable as possible for all of our customers.
Air-dried firewood is wood that has been left to dry naturally, usually for several months to a year. Kiln-dried firewood, on the other hand, is wood that has been dried in a kiln, a large oven-like structure, which uses heat to dry the wood more quickly. All our firewood is naturally air-dried. However, please note that due to the natural drying process, moisture levels may vary.
We recommend storing your firewood in a covered area with good air circulation to reduce moisture levels and improve the quality of the burn. This will ensure that your firewood is ready to burn efficiently and produce the heat you need when you need it.
